Weekend Memories

Naruto was bad. Maybe it’s just that I’ve grown used to the Inuyasha dub voices, but the dub reminded me of 4kids dubs so much. Okay, so their overall pronunciation of names wasn’t too bad. They did say saa-ku-rah, instead of suu-ku-rah, and emphasized the “A” in sasuke, just not quite enough. Different VA’s pronounced Naruto’s name differently, which made it somewhat awkward, but gosh, it’s like half the voice actors don’t have any acting skills. I personally, haven’t watched an episode with hokage mentioned… so I’m not quite sure how it’s pronounced in Japanese, but it sounded weird in English. Well, I guess the dub wasn’t too bad, tho I would’ve really prefered if they cut the dub for AS instead of Toonami.

Okay, so I just came back from shopping. xD (Continues…)

Things were Americanized. =.=;

Anywho… I watched the Inuyasha movie. Kyaaa~ Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha working together at last. Talk about pure fanservice, but I loved the movie. ^_^ Why are the movies so much better than the actual anime? (IMO) What’s more to say? I think Inuyasha’s parents are awesome. <3

Then I watched the latest Inuyasha ep. I think they’re still somewhere on ep 120 ish. -.-; I waaas going to watch the Escaflowne movie (been meaning to since my friend told me about the series 2 and a half years ago), but my mom told me to go to bed and I was already very sleepy~ School drains your energy.

Today, we took pictures. XD I got into all my dresses and tried out random poses. It’s a rare occasion for me to ever put on makeup, and the pics turned out okay. ^_^b

And err… Tsubasa and GSD are out, so I’ll be downloading. =P

As for shopping, we went to Costco to get the pictures developed. (190 some pictures in 1.5 hours), and in the meantime, went to Borders. I had to buy a new Spanish dictionary that could fit into my backpack, and bought the 501 Spanish Verbs book, because the teacher suggested it. Heh, the only reason I’m getting it is that she said we might be able to use them on certain quizzes. *is lazy that way* Well, it’s a good reference? I remember some of you saying that DNAngel 9 and Lagoon Engine 3 were out. Borders didn’t have them. However, I did find Full Moon wo Sagashite 2. As I skimmed through the book, there’s one part I don’t remember reading in the scanlations. =\ Rather randomly, I met a freshman that goes to my school (who was my partner in my art class last week) at the manga shelves. So cool~ XDD Um, and yeah, even though I forgot to bring my student ID, I got 20% off of everything and saved $9. w00t! (including FMwS)

I’m dying for some milk tea bob right now and I’ve still got Algebra 2 and Spanish homework. T.T
