Being an Upperclassman

:o It’s strange how most of my friends are seniors this year. It’s going to feel so lonely without them next year.

Anyways, I filled out a transcript transfer form at the college, but it’ll take about 3-4 weeks to arrive at my high school. I wonder if my counselor (who knows me pretty well) can put me into AP chem.

Spent the afternoon out with my cousin. XD There are no decent places to buy plain skirts these days. Are they that out of fashion?! Sad… We ended up going to Starbucks and I bought a new backpack. :P Why are Jansport backpacks everywhere now? But $25 for one is really on the borderline for me, since I don’t normally care about brand names. Mou, but I hear it lasts longer than most =\ I wanted the one with the single strap, since I thought the one my friend had this year (he’s off to college) was really cool.

I got my STAR testing results back. I didn’t do as well this year as I did last year. -___- I got Advanced on all my scores… I think I missed one in math, but I got 600 points anyways… (I missed none last year) And I totally know which one I missed. It was the one about graphing complex numbers. I didn’t know it was _+_i… and I chose a coordinate version. And I probably missed 2 or 3 in English. Haha. I did okay in the biology test for all 10th graders, but I received the lowest score I have in biology as a class… Only because we covered a lot of things on the test 2 weeks after the test was over. And world history… What can I say? We never really covere post WWII information. I always do the worst in science! Argh! And generally, science is my favorite type of subject (hence the 2 AP’s)… I’ve always done the best in math… and I’ve improve in English pretty much steadily since 2nd grade. LOL. What’s strange is that I dislike reading a lot… and even with that, I still get fairly high scores.

So, my senior friend got his class schedule already… and he says my math teacher last year isn’t teaching AP calc or stats… which is horrible, because there’s a greater likelihood he’ll be teaching math analysis. He assigns so much homework… and his tests are really difficult. ._. And I need as many not-so-hard classes as I can get my hands on or else I’m really going to self-implode this year.
