Or maybe it’s just the second of my normally 2 horrible weeks of school. I ended up falling asleep early last night reading The Awakening. I’m not really into the whole feminist movement/women empowerment story (nor am I into stories portraying weak women), but I enjoy Chopin’s use of language. Seems like I’m the only one in my class to feel that way.
Back to the main purpose of this entry. I woke up at 3 AM, only to discover I had left my Spanish Aventuras book somewhere outside of home, and I was supposed to have a quiz and 4 assignments on the chapter due. Wow, did I panic! I tried calling the 2 people I had numbers of on my cell phone. No one was awake at 5:30 AM, but I was desperate. By 6:00, my calls had reached my friend, and although he seemed to be dreadfully tired, he scanned in some 10 + pages of the book I lost. To add to my misfortune, someone had cut out 3 pages of my other book in which I also had homework due. Yes, so I got my friend to scan that. And now I only feel the guilt. -__-;; Anyways, come school I was an absolute wreck. I had not studied for my quiz and I hadn’t finished history notes.
And now that I’m sleepy again -_-;; (why am I sleepy now? =x), I’ll just say that I found my book and I’ll be freaking out about a math test tomorrow. NO MORE CARELESS MISTAKES. But because this week is one of my “bad luck weeks” (or so it seems for the sake of it not being any worse), I’m scared I’ll make more careless mistakes. -___-;
