So, my cousin has probably already landed in Melbourne. I hope he can visit again soon, or maybe we can go to Japan together.
(which probably means I’ll have to delay my trip until after Summer ’08 o_o) My piano recital was… decent… I kind of fell asleep and got passed my normal difficulties but made mistakes on two of the parts I was best versed in (that kind of sucks).
Disneyland was terrific! I couldn’t be sure if there’d be a lot of people or not. It was a holiday weekend, but I think most people tend to stay at home on Holy Saturday, right?
Anyways, we got to my cousin’s hotel at 6:40, and arrived at Disneyland around 7:30-40. Luckily, at that time, ticket lines weren’t very long, and we were able to buy tickets as his parents waited in line at the gate. For the first 2 hours, there were few people, so we were able to get through all of the “most important” rides.
Every time I go to Disneyland, I have to hit those rides, but with limited time and holiday traffic, I wasn’t sure if it was possible. We went on the Matterhorn Bobsleds (which kind of scared his mom), it’s a small world, the Alice in Wonderland tea cups, and Indiana Jones. I don’t know why Toontown was closed early on, although I remember it happening before.
Then we went to Tomorrowland, got a fastpass ticket for Autopia, went on that Star Tours simulation, and saw the Honey, I Shrunk the Audience show.
I believe our last two rides were Thunder Mountain and the new Buzz Light Year Astro Blasters ride, which was surprisingly fun! Video game-like ride with shooting down evil people with targets. I didn’t get the hang of it until later. XDD;;; My cousin got some 70,000 points, but I only got 13,000 some.
Then we saw a bit of the Parade of Dreams, before having to leave at 4. He had to make it in time for plane check-in and I had my recital. @_@
I wanted to buy my own ticket, but his parents just kept on handing me the money back. D: And I really wanted to buy something for him. Ya know? Memorabilia! In ’05 Christmas, my other cousin bought Mickey Mouse gloves, but he actually comes and visits now, like every 2 years (and I think we might be visiting sometimes soon.) So instead, I opted to ask him to choose a hat at the Mad Hatter, and I bought 2 of those. XD; Duude! His face is like perfect for a Goofy Hat.
I just wish I wasn’t so sick. ._.;; It always happens that I get to talk more towards the end of our trip. I cried a little last night. He made my otherwise pathetic week fun. And I have no regrets for skipping the robotics car wash.
Ever since he saw “Miki” on his buddy list… he’s been calling me that. D: Anouuu…. Angie is better for close friends and relatives, desu!
Anyways, off to catching up on homework! Happy Easter you fellow rabbits!
