Feeling that sudden surge of power

Today was AWESOME. And you know I rarely say that.

I got my AP computer science quiz back. Failure with an 18/20. D:

Government notes.

I skipped lunch because I was afraid we’d have a calculus quiz and I hadn’t memorized the formula for finding the integral of secant to some power x dx. >_>; That was the only problem I couldn’t solve without resorting to the formula. How frustrating!

Anywho. The good part. We didn’t have a quiz, and we left in the middle of class for our government field trip.

Yep. I got to hear Mitt Romney talk. I really can’t fathom how politicians can be SO ELOQUENT. What I wouldn’t give to have such control! I was disappointed because all I had was my camera phone. Other people managed to find extra campaign posters, but I just got a brochure and a bumper sticker. Yep.

We hurriedly walked back to the bus, thinking that we had to leave ASAP, but after we walked across the parking lot, we discovered that the bus wasn’t there. D: We didn’t get a chance to get autographs or photos taken because of the time constraint, so our teacher let us go back (thinking that the bus had left us).

And so I now have Mitt Romney’s autograph. Lovely autograph collection. *o* Only half of our group was still at the convention center when my teacher sent someone telling us to go back, but in a state of confusion, people stayed. After all, what difference would an extra 5-10 minutes make if we could get a group photo with Mitt Romney? Unfortunately, our teacher wasn’t there and there wasn’t enough time for us to run between the convention center and the bus.

We got our photo and made a mad dash to the bus. Wow! I felt like I had just finished a marathon. D: Carrying a backpack with a laptop while running was a big no-no. D:

So we came back 20 minutes late, planning to call our parents to pick us up (for the people that usually took the school buses home, they were going to find rides)… only to discover that all 10+ buses were waiting for us.

LOL, ALL YOU FRESHMEN, SOPHOMORES, AND JUNIORS WHO ALWAYS CUT ME IN LINE AND PICKED ON ME TAKE THAT! Even if it was only waiting 20 extra minutes inside a hot bus for some seniors who delayed the trip. XDD That was the first time I felt like I actually had any standing among underclassmen (how sad!).

The best part was when I was standing outside of the school. One of the buses broke down, so those people were complaining about having to wait for the seniors and still not being able to go home. *snickers at their predicament*

Then I went to Pizza Hut, waited for 20 minutes for breadsticks, walked a block, and walked back up hill to my brother’s school. Ugh. Too much walking/running for a month. T_T;

And I recognize no one from that school any more!

I totally believe guy fobby hairstyle is becoming more trendy.
