Sort of.
I’m not sure what to make of this build season. People are unmotivated. I’m supposed to learn and teach programming AND electrical at the same time. I’m not 4 people! ._.; My teacher gets mad at me for touching my keyboard too much or for talking one-on-one with the mentor. It’s not my fault the rookies don’t even try to participate. It’s not like Alec or Raffi really took very much of their time to baby me through everything. I had a lot of learning to do this build season. Yep.
But I think we finally got the gyro to work. I’m almost done with the code for teleoperated mode, which wasn’t too complicated (especially since most of it is similar to that from last year and ’05). I have 2 weeks to come up with a decent autonomous code. This year, we’ll be relying a lot more on autonomous running points, so I hope it works. ._.
I went ice skating Saturday night. I had to hold my friend’s hand for a quarter of the time? Mobile wall! He had to catch me so many times because I lost my balance. Aha. I *finally* got used to it a bit more, so I didn’t have to skate by the edge (there wasn’t much to grab onto). I fell once. My knee’s pretty bruised (multi-colored!). I feel bad because he helped me the entire time. All of my other friends were incredible! Uwah! (Some are taking lessons for their senior project.)
My dad says I look like an old woman what with the way I bend down and skate.
Second semester. Econ’s… *no comment yet*
