*laugh*

I haven’t had SO MUCH FUN in such a long while.

Ironically, it was at a competition. I had about one day’s preparation for it, so I was nervous. The events are interesting and varied. I wish I could try again next year, because I now know what to expect. =\ It’s a shame that no one bothered putting much effort into studying, but I guess they tried their best at the events. One of my friends said the chemistry lab was easy. She just forgot some of the concepts/hadn’t learned them. .__.;

The awards ceremony was… part of me wonders why I went. I guess I wanted to see what it was like. xP My friend and I got 5th in cell biology, and that was the only event for which our team received some medal. *meep* 6/34 teams should receive medals for each event. That’s a high probability! And not to win anything is should shameful. -_-; I would have been upset at myself if I hadn’t gotten anything, but I’m still disappointed it was 5th for cell bio. >_>;

I wish I had tried chemistry and physics. Those ought to be my best subjects. Other people wanted those events, so I relented. One person told me the day before the event that she couldn’t make it. Just great.

I guess it was okay, since I studied roughly 2 hours for cell biology. I wonder how many questions we got wrong. o_o I had my friend change a lot of answers last minute. Maybe it would’ve been better if I hadn’t said anything. @_@;

I studied quite a bit more for astronomy. It was fun. It was unfair that they gave half of the room 5 minutes less time. o_o The door was closed! Ugh!

I guess I should be happy that everyone who showed up did. ^^; The time we spent chatting in between events was nice too.

I saw so many of my JPL friends at the competition. It was quite a wonderful surprise!

‘Nywho. We went ice skating afterwards. I wanted to go to this one Chinese restaurant, but we would have been late for ice skating, so we ended up going to In N Out. I think I had too many of their hamburgers during build season.

My friend brought his giftcards, so we spent them all, and I paid him back. I still owe people money. Ahh!

Ice skating was fun. I can finally skate faster! My dad still says I look like an old grandma skating. (lol)

I *wish* I hadn’t fallen backwards that one time, because… now I can’t quite sit down without hurting. Haha. *uber sweatdrop* I think I would have preferred a bruised knee.

It’s always nice to skate with friends, ya know? That way, you don’t feel lonely on the ice. Although skating next to a friend can be… challenging, because when one person falls, the other one falls too (or comes really close to falling). Unless, of course, one of us really knows how to skate. Then that’s a totally different story.

But we’re learning! ^_^
