I’m sometimes surprised by what I find in my room when I’m cleaning.
I probably have $300+ in unused gift cards and money left over from my birthdays that I haven’t accounted for.
I looked through my collection of Magic the Gathering, US Sailor Moon , Cardcaptor Sakura Sakura Card Season, Pokemon , Pokemon (Topps version), Dragon Ball Z, Shaman King, Yu Yu Hakusho, Initial D (free set from AX), Yu-Gi-Oh, Rurouni Kenshin, Rurouni Kension movies, and Cardcaptor Sakura movies TCGs (I’m probably forgetting a few). I know I had a few Japanese Sailor Moon cards. I wonder where they went.
Japanese cards are a lot better looking than American cards, granted, you don’t actually use Japanese cards in strategy card games. You just trade them.
In sixth grade, I was obsessed with 2 things: downloading CCS mp3s and wasting ink on Sailor Moon/Cardcaptor Sakura images. I liked a guy back then (which was partly the reason for why I started playing Magic). He used to send me letters and Magic cards (and the occasional origami turtle), and when I started using e-mail on a regular basis, we exchanged e-mails quite frequently. I guess it’s fun (a bit embarrassing, maybe) to look back at those times. The scary thing is that I think he was a better writer then than I potentially am now. :o! Actually, he was always gifted at writing (and practically everything else – har har competition for the highest GPA).
I occasionally complain about how Yahoo! deleted all of my e-mails. I mostly have those e-mails in mind when I’m talking about that. I’m a packrat in every kind of way. I even asked the administrator for Furuba Forums (Sarah’s wonderful!) if I could get a copy of all 2000+ of my entries (I joined in early 2004, I believe).
Well, to the point! I actually saved those e-mails and the letters that he sent. I kept them in my CCS/Sailor Moon picture folder (or I should say I hid them).
I thought I had possibly tossed those letters out after junior high, but I found them still paper-clippedtogether, along with some CCS/BSSM line arts that were meant to be colored in.
-insert awkward moment here-
lol. I’m not sure why I’m leaving this as a public entry, but then again, who can seriously say they’ve never had a crush on anyone during junior high school? (Okay, fine, maybe some people…)
http://www.animejungle.net/user/scripts/user/product.php?product_id=887 LOL Anime Jungle is selling that Eureka Seven poster for $20. I got a version of that for free at AX a few years back, plus I got Tomoki Kyoda’s signature on it.
But it does have L for $34, which is more expensive than the MSRP of 3000 yen but less expensive than the 5000 one I saw at Akiba.
I’m just afraid they’re not going to have any inventory tomorrow (IMAX tickets sold out, so we opted to go to Little Tokyo), since I’m pretty sure AJ has a booth at Comic Con (and pre-con is tomorrow).

I’m pretty sure Kino sold it at AX for $15 two or three years ago.
I can’t even find anymore of the Gundam Seed Destiny posters I bought. I wish I bought Shin. >.<

Whoa! I paid $6 for it at Akiba (but it was onsale).
