One day, I want to go to a concert in Asia. >o< Be one with the other crazy Asian fangirls <3 XDD I love the experience. It's just not the same in the US. Boo!
Right now, I'm really missing Ya-Ya-yah. T_T I hope Shoon and Taiyou are doing well <3 Why is it that my 2 least favorite members are in HeySayJump? Wahhh~ Well, I like Yabu too, and Hikaru's... okay.
Today, I woke up around noon. I need to start waking up earlier -_- I started buying potato wedges at Vons when I was studying for AP tests junior year, and lately, I've come to like the ones that KFC sells too.
We celebrated my cousin's 20th birthday at my house.
Okay, that was one thing I had to comment on. The other? Remember when I was working on those posters for that one organization I was helping out? I also made 2 websites for my friend's branch. -_-; I had to painstakingly go through flyers after flyers and information on brochures and create a lot of the pages from scratch (content, too!) So, now that the organization has a new VP of tech... he's supposed to be responsible for the website, right?
1. I (or my parents... lol?) pay for the domain name.
2. He couldn't get how to FTP... (the other guy that took over the other website did!), so "transfered" all of the pages onto a free website and asked me to link to it from the main page. Wow. Thanks.
3. He used one of those generic layout templates (EW) and used the banner I made. Of course, since the banner didn't fit the template, he enlarged it, and it's all pixelated. Half of me is glad that he didn't credit me for something so... BLEH... the other half is wondering how he had the nerve to ask me to "link" his version of the site when he took my banner without giving me the least bit credit. Granted, some of the pages have been changed around, and some of the content is different, but it's still based off of what I had spent hours on. >_>; Okaaay, so it’s a community service type organization started by my friend. I don’t need credit, right? I guess so. But I just feel a bit irked about it. -_- Other people really push me to the limits. They’re the ones that made me spend 30+ hours on a flyer/poster… only to tell me with no warning that they wouldn’t use it. It’s like… you’re offering your time to volunteer. Free labor, right? So don’t push me.
Yeeeep. *fume*
After that, I haven’t been able to make anything decent.
KCET is running a special on Pavarotti. I like listening to the Three Tenors.
I feel completely old-school. It’s like… the only types of songs that fit my voice are operatic or Broadway. And those are the songs I like most. All of the Asian pop I listen to… I consider rather superficial. x_x I like old black and white movies… and I have an extremely conservative personality (not politics-wise though). Maybe I should have been born 30 years ago, like my friend once said. Though… where would I be without the Internet and modern technology?
Lastly? Uhh… for some reason, Tom Hanks reminds me of Gene Kelly. Apollo 13 made him one of my favorite actors back in… wow? preschool? I remember going with my mom to, I think it was, Woolworth to buy it, and it was supposed to be my birthday present.
I hope Nadal beats Murray, too… but if he doesn’t, well, this is the furthest he’s ever gotten in the US Open, anyway, so he should still feel proud…
