Receiving a package in the mail can be quite exciting, especially when you don’t know anything about it beforehand. Maybe it contains a new CD that you ordered or some elusive collector’s item that you finally found on the Internet one day. Who knows? It might even contain some Harry-Potter-like book being delivered on the day of its release (even though you didn’t pay the extra money for expedited shipping). Well, what if it was something completely unexpected? What if you had somehow won a diamond tennis bracelet (I’m sure the package would have been insured)? Or some anonymous stranger had sent you a large stuffed animal or a bouquet of flowers (kind of creepy, I admit)?

My grandma told me that a package was delivered to me. At first, I thought maybe she had misread the label, since my mom’s been waiting for a book she ordered to arrive. Then I looked at the mailing labels. LOL! Nick! I got a package delivered from Berkeley, California. Did this have anything to do with his e-mail? He was wondering why he had my home address, but not my cell number. I gave him my cell number when we went to City Walk last year (or maybe it was the year before?), but I don’t think I ever got his, and I guess he didn’t transfer his contacts onto his iPhone. Oh well. Ah, he’s such a cool person to be around. Funfunfun~

As for the contents of the package? Well, I had asked him way back in April if he could get my a Cal sweatshirt. I still want one. ._.; I wish I had gone to CalDay just to buy one (and take a side trip to Japantown). Of course, it wasn’t a sweatshirt (hah!). Is it considered a polo shirt? Early (or late) birthday present. *dies*

It’s kind of hilarious. Completely unexpected. Thanks Nick!

lol!

4/15. L.

Dear Angie,

I don’t know if I’ve told you this before, but I have always considered you as my little sister. You are gifted beyond belief, and you’re so nice!
Good luck with next year. Your class needs character! Class of ’08 is so dang boring. Make it better!!!

<3 'dawww I can't help but believe that's the most thoughtful comment I've ever gotten. >o<

Wherever you go, I know you’ll be great. *sigh* I wish I had gotten to know him sooner~ But robotics these passed 2 years were incredible and I loved working with him. Good luck @ Berkeley!

That and my calc test ended horribly. D: *sigh* I LOVE YOU SENIORS.

I still owe him for giving me so many birthday photos for Christmas. n_n
